The Collective for Loving Cinema Series
A curated weekly series brought to you by C:U and curated by Anna Brady Nuse, Stephen Kent Jussik, Matt Kohn and MM Serra.

All programs take place, except for major holidays.
1ST MONDAY:
KINETIC CINEMA
Kinetic Cinema explores the intersection of dance and the moving image both on screen and stage. Each month curator Anna Brady Nuse invites a special guest from the dance community to share the films and videos that have inspired or moved them. These could be films that feature dance, are kinetic-based, or have been influencial on their work in some way. The guest curators will come from a range of backgrounds as performers, choreographers, critics, and filmmakers.

3RD MONDAY:
SPEAKEASY CINEMA is a unique film experience with rules, as follows:
Each month Matt Kohn invites a film artist (director, writer, actor) to bring a secret film to C:U for your enjoyment followed by conversation. Speakeasy has some simple rules:

 1) our guests bring a film and no one one knows what it is until the lights dim
 2) the film can't be a film the guests have worked on, only a film they love or hate, think is important, inspiring and want to talk about
 3) after the film, the audiences and the filmmakers share their experiences watching the film. We talk about ART.
 4) industry talk is verboten!
