The past year has been one of change for C:U. The Church Street venue which we had inhabited since 2005 was closed down, and we became, for the first time in over a decade, a vagabond theater company. With the loss of the space also came the retirement of several valued members of the C:U board.
But C:U has never been afraid of change. Change re-invigorates us. So we're thrilled to report that we're going strong, and will continue to support the work of emerging artists in upcoming years.
In addition to seeking out new and exciting projects to nurture, C:U is proud to continue our relationship with two of our most successful ventures: The annual undergroundzero Festival, and the monthly presentation of Pinchbottom Burlesque. We eagerly anticipate our participation in the continued evolution of these productions, and both are moving to exciting new venues for the new year.
Thank you to the audiences, subscribers, donors, and patrons who have supported the work of C:U for 14 years. We invite you to join us for a future of more invigorating work on the stages of New York City and beyond.
